Women’s Circles

I believe in creating circle spaces where women can show up exactly as they are away from the distractions and identities of daily life. Where we can voice and witness the truth of our hearts with no expectation or pressure. Particularly during the initiatory time of midlife when our inner voices start to get louder.

This is a space where we have the opportunity to ride the waves of whatever’s coming up in the moment.

Seeing our stories weave together over time in a simple yet carefully crafted sacred container is a truly magical experience and I can’t wait to share it with you.

I hold fortnightly women’s circles in Cardigan, West Wales.

“There is no such thing as a “safe space” — We exist in the real world. We all carry scars and have caused wounds. This space seeks to turn down the volume of the world outside, and amplify voices that have to fight to be heard elsewhere, This space will not be perfect. It will not always be what we wish it to be But It will be our space together, and we will work on it side by side..”

“Thanks so much for your patient space-holding tonight Phoebe. I loved what was shared about group mindfulness and I enjoyed noticing the wind through the trees during our pauses. Thank you for all you have given to enable this.”

Erika

“Phoebe's circle was my first circle experience, I wasn't sure what to expect and was nervous initially. I was quickly put at ease and thoroughly enjoyed the circle time, often coming away feeling relaxed, reassured and supported.”

The Benefits

It’s a compassionate, non-judgemental, confidential space where all of you is welcome.

Speaking your truth. Out loud.

Being heard and witnessed.

A space to practice deep listening.

An opportunity to shed identities and practice authenticity.

Practice being present to yourself and others.

Feeling what it’s like to be in a truly reciprocal space.

Hearing our own stories embedded in the stories of our sisters’.

Strengthening our fibres as women through our shared stories.

Seeing that we are more alike than we are different.

It’s soothing for the nervous system.

A sense of belonging.

And so much more…

This is for you if

You feel disconnected, powerless, exhausted and generally fed-up in perimenopause and long to clear a path back to yourself and others.

You’re looking for a deeper, more rich way of being with others.

You’d like to turn down the noise and distraction of your everyday life for a while and be still.

You yearn to drop the identities you carry and just be you. As you are.

You’d like to let go of the pressure of striving, of doing and be together with others who don’t need anything from you.

You’d like to be part of a co-created space where your voice matters and is deeply heard.

You are willing to show up fortnightly and be held in a simple and loving space without knowing what will happen.

“I participated in a perimenopause circle facilitated by Phoebe, and it became a valuable part of my week. I found I was incredibly mindful throughout the session and loved the sacredness of listening and sharing with other women. Phoebe held the circle calmly, generously and with humour and it was an honour to be a part of.”

Jen

“Yours was the first women’s circle I’ve been part of. I attended the circle online and it was a special experience to get together from our different places, not knowing much about anyone but finding so many points of connection. You created and held space gently and with a vulnerability that I appreciated very much. A space to share and hear each other without pressure or judgement. Thank you!

Becky

What to expect?

We gather fortnightly on Fridays in Cardigan, West Wales.

My vision for this space is one that enables us to step into our truth and trust what wants to emerge.

If you are quiet or shy, your silence is as welcome as your voice.

Each week we check in with our community guidelines. These help us to create a safe and brave a space as possible.

I hold the harbour walls of the circle but I am not in charge. My job is to uphold the guidelines and ebb and flow with what is needed for the integrity of the space and the group at any given moment.

Your part is to commit to showing up on time fortnightly with an open heart and mind.

Apart from our guidelines, everything is an invitation.

Although circle spaces are therapeutic, they are not a form of therapy or counselling. It is advised that if you are experiencing trauma of any kind that you seek the support you need and only enter circle space when you feel ready.

There is no known outcome when we sit in circle and this is where the magic lies. When do we get the chance to turn inward and really listen and trust what our inner voice wants to say.y?
