Do you feel disconnected from your true self? Like the inside of you doesn’t match the outside?
Perhaps there’s a hard conversation you've been meaning to have
Maybe with your partner, or with someone at work. You know exactly what you want to say, you've got the words, you've imagined how you want it to go. You've rehearsed it over and over.
And then the moment comes and your throat tightens. Something in you freezes. You say nothing, or you say something you don't mean, or you send a text instead, something safer and smaller than what was actually true. Something that won't rock the boat.
And afterwards you tell yourself it doesn't matter, you can say it another day. It wasn't the right time anyway.
You've done more inner work than almost anyone you know. Dog-eared Brené Brown, Clarissa Pinkola Estés, spine cracked Gabor Matés on the bookshelf. Your journal and altar gathering dust. Inspirational podcasts on dog walks. You're so self-aware, and you know what's possible for you and yet something still feels stuck and you feel like you're swimming upstream. Perhaps you havelong hidden truths rising up in you or a deep longing to create something or expand your life. Or maybe, like many women in midlife, you just feel a bit ‘meh’ and you wish you could access the part of you that has the courage to take up more space in your life.
There’s all this talk in midlife and monopause that we can finally step into our power and find our voice. But how do we actually do it? Because, for many of us that feels like the last thing that’s going on.
Insight alone cannot build the capacity to hold discomfort in real time. You can understand yourself completely and still freeze when it matters most.
Your voice isn't broken. Your system is protecting you.
What if the freeze, the tightening, the words that won't come, aren't signs that something is wrong with you, but signals from a nervous system doing exactly what it was designed to do?
When you understand that, everything shifts. And from that shift, you can begin to:
Have that courageous conversation with your partner
Stop replaying the social gathering in your head at 2am and finally be on your own side
Trust that what you have to say is of value
Take your seat at the table with confidence and know your worth
Stop running and remember that everything you need is already within you
Put yourself at the top of the list of priorities (where you belong)
Flow with your emotions, without over-identifying with them
Meet yourself with compassion after the spiral, instead of adding shame to shame
We are made of matter and our voice can literally change our vibration and release stuck emotions, old beliefs, and patterns. Through breath, vocal toning and guided voice activation, your voice becomes not just sound but a healing instrument, for more vitality, ease and flow. This isn't about singing or performing. It's about freedom of expression and the physics of energy and resonance.
Your voice is the missing layer.
Hi, I’m Phoebe
I’m a voice guide, women’s coach and circle facilitator who supports women to navigate the potent threshold of midlife.
As a life long singer and performer, I’ve learned to work with the voice as an instrument for healing. Whether you’re feeling the early shifts of perimenopause or you’re deep in the menopause transition, I’d love to support you to clear the path back to yourself, your truth and your power.
My true power should come like a shoot
A force of nature, no pushing, no holding back
—Rainer Maria Rilke
‘Phoebe is amazing. She's relaxed, natural, warm, knowledgeable and I immediately felt safe. She created the space for me to be heard and I really looked forward to our weekly/fortnightly meetings (which were sometimes emotional but Phoebe was always empathetic and calm!). Each time I came away with a sense of purpose, hope, and feeling like a weight had been lifted.’
